Product Details

Adenosine is a purine nucleoside that perfoms an important role in energy transfer reactions in the forms of ADP and ATP, and in cell signaling in the form of cyclic AMP. Adenosine also regulates blood flow via vasodilation and has been used to test for blockages in the coronary arteries, by exaggerating the difference between normal and abnormal segments.

Our Adenosine Assay Kit provides a simple, convenient microplate-based method to measure the amount of total adenosine present in a variety of sample types. Detection is performed in a fluorescence-based plate reader.
