Antioxidant Assays

Excess ROS must be promptly eliminated from the cell by a variety of antioxidant defense mechanisms. Cellular antioxidant enzymes and other redox molecules serve to counterbalance ROS generated in the cell.

We offer assays to measure the activity of specific antioxidants: catalase , superoxide dismutase and gluthaione. Additionally, you may measure the antioxidant capacity of certain biomolecules (ORAC, HORAC, & TAC).
